Recruitment for the 2017-2018 John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition Organizing Committee has officially begun!

VP Academic Affairs

As VP Academic Affairs of JMUCC, you are responsible for working with real companies in developing four live cases for the competition (three 3-hour cases, one 24-hour), and for conducting all judges’ training sessions.

As well, you’re the go-to person for all case, rule and scoring-related information prior to, and during the week of the competition.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience with case competitions.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.

VP Corporate Relations

As VP Corporate Relations of JMUCC, you are responsible for managing all existing relationships with JMUCC’s key external partners, both in monetary and product sponsorship.

You are also responsible for developing relationships with new partners and you will work with the VP Logistics to organize the sponsored events.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be outgoing and proactive.

VP Technology and Innovation

As VP Technology and Innovation of JMUCC, you are responsible for finding and managing new platforms and technologies to foster global interactions. You will be in charge of the live streaming of the competition and of JMUCC TV. You will work closely with the VP Communications to develop effective strategies.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Must be very technology driven
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics is a plus
  • A BTM background is a great asset
  • Avid researcher

VP Marketing

As VP Marketing of JMUCC, you are responsible for designing all physical (program booklets, banners, foamcores, flyers) and online (information packages, Facebook banners, promotional and teaser photos) promotional material throughout the year, and during the week of the competition.

As well, you will collaborate with the VP Communications on developing a marketing plan leading up to the week of the competition.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Must have experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

VP External Affairs

As VP External Affairs of JMUCC, you are responsible for inviting and selecting the 24 participating universities for the 2017 competition.

In addition to that, you are the link between the committee and the teams, and you are responsible for managing relations with other competitions around the world.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills.

VP Logistics

 As VP Logistics of JMUCC, you are responsible for all internal bookings, for planning all of JMUCC’s social and networking events throughout the week of the competition, and for ensuring that the competition runs smoothly and on time, to the very second!

You are also responsible for selecting, training, and managing a team of 6 full-time volunteers before and during the competition.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must have great oral and written communication skills.
